With practical tips and language patterns at three levels of proficiency, the card guides students to actively contribute by paraphrasing, building on ideas, asking for clarification, and staying focused on the topic. It provides a variety of ways for students to practice active, respectful listening, and to reflect on how they can use their discussion as a learning opportunity. There is space for students to write new ideas they want to remember.
This user-friendly, two-sided card is three-hole punched for storing in a binder. It is designed as a stand-alone support or a companion to the ever-popular Discussion Cards.
